3. Acupuncture:

Hyaluronic acid breaks down in the synovial fluids and loss contributes to the joint pain and stiffness. It is to be noted that according to AAOS hyaluronic acid injections are not recommended strongly since pain score, functions, stiffness subscales scores never met the minimum clinical improvement thresholds. It is also clear that oral diet supplements certainly also don’t have a chance in improving the conditions since Injections are not recommended by the surgeons.

6. Intraarticular Corticosteroid Injections:

Usage of Intraarticular corticosteroid injections and its effectiveness is inconclusive as the results in the patients varied. The pain score function score and stiffness score varied amongst the patients, and results were inferior to hyaluronic acids and needle lavage in some patients and in some patients it was found superior.

1. Arthroscopy with Lavage and Debridement:
