A recent study from World Health Organization (WHO) indicates 10% of the population over 60 years is estimated to suffer from osteoarthritic pain. 40% of men and 47% of women are estimated to be in the risk of developing symptomatic knee OA, with 60.5% risk in people who are obese. The study results indicates that there is rise in OA prevalence across the globe in the last years due to increasing prevalence of obesity, aging population and change in life style.
